Mr. Fayek is Executive Board Member of Rameda. He has worked at Compass Capital since its inception and was integral in the completion of several transactions across the pharmaceutical, financial services and real estate sectors. Prior to joining Compass Capital, Mr. Fayek held several senior positions including CFO and Business Development Director in the manufacturing sector. Mr. Fayek is Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
Mr. Daniel Lee Grice is Senior Vice President and Head of Regional Investments Portfolio – MENA Investments at the Public Investment Fund (PIF), where he is responsible for capital allocation and portfolio oversight across public and private equity investments in the MENA region. He has experience in sovereign investing, growth equity, private credit, and corporate finance, including governance and risk management responsibilities. Prior to joining PIF, Daniel was part of the M&A and Growth Equity team at Prosus (formerly Naspers), evaluating strategic acquisitions and minority investments across technology and consumer platforms. He previously worked at Prudential Private Capital / PGIM on direct lending and private capital investments, and at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Global Corporate and Investment Banking, covering strategic and acquisition-related financings for German corporates. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business with a major in Finance from Maastricht University and completed an undergraduate exchange program at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Ahmed Abou-Hendia is the Founder and Managing Partner of Abou-Hendia Law Firm, with over three decades of experience in legal consultancy, corporate governance, investment, arbitration, and regulatory affairs. A graduate of the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University, he advises several leading local and international companies and prominent public figures. He serves on the boards of multiple major institutions and listed companies, including Elsewedy Electric, Housing and Development Bank, Arabian Cement, Alexandria New Medical Center, Egyptian Resorts Company, and Cairo Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries, in addition to holding trustee and leadership roles across key educational and investment institutions.

She has over 30 years of experience in health systems reform, strategic policy, public–private partnerships, and medical education. Dr. Zaid served as Egypt’s Minister of Health and Population and was named among the 100 Most Influential African Women in 2020. During her tenure as Minister, she led Egypt’s Hepatitis C Elimination Campaign, the launch of the Universal Health Insurance System, national women’s health programs, and the country’s COVID-19 response and vaccine localization efforts.

Prior to joining Ekuity Holding, Mr. El Shoura held the position of Senior Vice President of Private Equity at Arab Moltaqa Investments (AMIC), the investment arm of Dallah Al-Baraka Group. Mr. Soliman has 37 years of experience in engineering and management with Schlumberger. Executive president for Schlumberger Testing Services globally. He also previously served as President and Managing Director for Venezuela, Trinidad and the Caribbean and for Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador. In 2016 and 2017, he was recognized as one of the Middle East’s Top 100 Executives by Forbes Middle East. Mr. Soliman holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Helwan University.
Mirna Arif is the General Manager of Microsoft Egypt and boasts over 20 years of experience leading digital transformation strategies for multinational and public sector entities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to becoming Microsoft Egypt’s General Manager in 2020, Arif was Microsoft’s Surface Business Group Director for Middle East and Africa at their Dubai-based office, and also held the role of Regional Director for Digital Transformation at GE Oil and Gas, where she was responsible for leading and overseeing their digital transformation strategy in North Africa and Turkey. Arif was also appointed as Assistant Minister for Investment and International Cooperation at the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, where she advised on the development and implementation of the petroleum sector strategy. Prior to this, Arif spent the first 12 years of her career at Schlumberger, where she assumed various leadership roles that saw her spearhead the company’s global marketing strategies for the company’s software and marine acquisition segments. He started his career at a leading auditing firm in Egypt before joining the Group as Treasury Manager, later becoming Finance Director, and currently serving as Group CFO, leading the company’s financial strategy, governance, and operational performance. His expertise spans financial planning, treasury management, budgeting, and risk management, supporting the Group’s long-term growth and financial sustainability. He holds a Master of Business Administration from ESLSCA University.
Dr. El Gabri is Rameda’s Toll Sales and Commercial Director. Before joining Rameda, Dr. El Gabri was the National Sales Manager at United Company of Pharmacies and Middle East Chemicals specializing in Pfizer products. Prior to that, he held numerous positions at Bristol Myers Squibb including Area Sales Manager, Field Force Manager and Medical Representative. Dr. El Gabri holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from Cairo University.
Dr. Rania Farouk is an associate professor of Oral Medicine at the Modern Sciences and Arts University, where she has spent more than 24 years as a faculty member. Since 2019, she has overseen the Faculty of Dentistry’s research committee. Further, she served as the head of the faculty’s educational programs development, obtaining for it quality certifications. Dr. Rania graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Cairo University, and has since written several publications for a variety of reputed scientific journals.
Dr. Ossama Heiba is the Site Director at Rameda, responsible for overseeing production, engineering, supply chain, safety, and general services. He brings nearly four decades of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and operations. Prior to joining Rameda in his current role, Mr. Heiba held senior operational positions at Sedico Pharmaceuticals and Tabuk Pharmaceuticals in Saudi Arabia, and spent over a decade at T3A Industrial in various production and plant leadership roles. Earlier in his career, he worked at EIPICO where he held several production roles. Mr. Heiba holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry and an M.Sc. in Chemistry.
Ms. Muttawa is the Group’s Human Resources Head and has over 25 years of experience spanning various roles across multiple industries, including the position of Human Resources Director at General Motors, and Gourmet. Ms. Muttawa is a seasoned trainer, having designed and delivered training programs across multiple sectors, including banking, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, and hospitality, both in Egypt and internationally. Ms. Muttawa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Education, both from the American University in Cairo.
Dr. Maha Douh is the Technical Director at Rameda, bringing over 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She began her career at Kahira Pharmaceuticals in microbiology and research and development before joining October Pharma as Quality Control Section Head. Dr. Douh joined Rameda in 1995 and has since held several leadership roles including R&D Section Head, R&D Manager, R&D and Regulatory Affairs Director, and Plant Manager before assuming her current position as Technical Director. Abdallah Negm is the Group’s Business Technology Director and boasts over 17 years of experience across the information technology space, including digital transformation strategy, IT budgeting, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and analytics. Prior to joining Rameda, he spent 15 years at General Motors Egypt and North Africa, where he held various roles, including IT Operations Manager and IT Operations Team Lead. Eng. Negm holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
Khaled Daader is currently the Head of Investor Relations and Mergers and Acquisitions at Rameda and brings nearly a decade of experience covering financial advisory and investor relations. Prior to his current role, Khaled led the investor relations function at one of Egypt’s largest dairy companies, Juhayna Food Industries. He also served as a member of CI Capital’s investment banking team for four years, where he advised clients on a variety of transactions across the consumer, education, real estate, hospitality, and financial services sectors.
